If you find yourself in the wilderness, consider joining Shalom House's ten-month, Group Spiritual Direction Cohort. Receive support and guidance from trained spiritual directors to uncover your honest experience of your relationship with God, and surrender yourself to his loving invitation to receive healing and wholeness."

I've always been drawn to a more contemplative, reflective way of relating to God, I strongly believe that this is his grace on me because I've never been the most quiet, introverted person. Strangely, it was after God calling me to cross-cultural ministry that I felt a draw to widen my view and practice of spiritual disciplines and formation. More importantly, though, I felt God's spirit calling me to go deeper with him, deeper in trust, intimacy and rest. The image that comes to me time and time again of where I am in my relationship with God is from the Chronicles of Narnia when Mr. Beaver tells the Pevensie children when they arrive in Narnia, "We must go further in, further in...Aslan is on the move." Do you feel that in your heart, mind, body, and soul? The invitation to go further in? Let's go there together with the Holy Spirit as our guide.

Being a Christian is a lifetime relationship. We are (Jesus and I) committed, we’ve gone steady, and we’re together forever. Which means, hopefully, over time I start looking and living more like Him, no matter the season, no matter the trial. Work could be booming or busted. Family could be tight-knit or totally estranged. But if, in 20 years, I start to resemble Jesus just a bit, I’ll think myself successful, and hopefully that lifelong adventure will have gone to depths I could have never imagined. If you find yourself wondering what’s next in your life with Christ, maybe He’s calling you to explore spiritual direction and what life might look like this season.

Spiritual wilderness can be confusing but our trained spiritual directors will guide you and your peers with Lectio Devina, guided prayers, and spiritual practices.

We will provide two seminars/retreat, so you be more aware of your transformation.
